How to install

Windows

  1. Open YukiWeb-setup.exeIt's in your Downloads folder.
  2. If a blue window shows up, click More infoYukiWeb is new, so Windows SmartScreen doesn't know it yet. That's normal.
  3. Then click Run anywayYou only do this once: updates install inside YukiWeb without it.

Android

  1. Download the APK on your phoneAbout 92 MB, Wi-Fi is better.
  2. Let your browser install appsAndroid asks for it: “Allow from this source”. Turn it on and go back.
  3. Tap InstallYou need about 300 MB of free space.
  4. That's itYukiWeb offers new versions itself and installs them over the old one, nothing is lost.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. No subscription, no ads. The VPN is included too.

How does it update?

On Windows the update downloads in the background and YukiWeb offers a restart. On Android the menu shows an Update button, and the new version installs over the old one.

Android says “App not installed”

Usually there isn't enough space: free up about 300 MB and try again. If that doesn't help, uninstall YukiWeb and install it again from this page. Sign in with Yuki ID and your bookmarks and history come back.

Do I need an account?

No. Yuki ID is only for syncing bookmarks, history and theme between devices.

Why does Windows warn me?

SmartScreen warns about any new program until it has enough downloads or a paid certificate. The warning goes away as YukiWeb gets known.
